The contest results were announced in Warsaw by Vice Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin. Two of our company’s made the top five, placing The Farm 51 among the winners of the contest.
Short descriptions of awarded projects:
– Conducting research of hyper-realistic missile and armor ballistics, photorealistic environment visualization, online user collaboration, and developing a modular battlefield interactive simulator prototype based on the symbiosis of AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) environments.
– Constructing new tools and techniques, and extending existing ones to create photorealistic 3D graphics for state-of-the-art interactive applications and virtual reality under the emerging Reality 51 technology.
“The idea to create an advanced Battlefield Simulator based on AR/VR environments synergy appeared during our collaboration with the defense industry, and during consulting meetings with the uniformed services sector.We want to address the market needs, and to enrich the simulation market with new, innovative technologies, dedicated to hyper-realistic simulations and broadly defined educational/training programs.I am quite certain, that the results of our research & development will revolutionize the professional battlefield simulators market dedicated to uniformed services, and – thanks to its modular structure – enrich civil simulators sector with new training capabilities,” said Kamil Bilczyński, Vice President, The Farm 51.

For a long time, we have been working with many prestigious research & development centers, and global new technologies market leaders,” said Wojciech Pazdur, Vice President, The Farm 51. “Winning the GameINN contest is a confirmation that the development direction we have chosen a few years ago is the right one. I believe that the entire industry will benefit from innovative projects awarded in the contest.”
The GameINN sector program, run by the National Centre for Research and Development under the Smart Development Program, is intended to increase the competitiveness of Polish video game developers on the global market until 2023. The program was started by the NCRD in 2016 at the request of Porozumienie Polskie Gry (Polish Video Games Agreement). The budget of the GameINN contest amounted to PLN 80 million, but in mid-November, it was increased to PLN 116 million. Thus, 38 innovative projects will receive funding in the amount of PLN 115.8 million.
